Raeburn Orchards
A lovely family owned Orchard located in Roleystone, about a thirty-minute drive from Perth.
This orchard is best seen during the Autumn and Spring seasons where the colours of the leaves are limitless.
A perfect place to stock up on some fruit, grab a coffee and find a nice spot among the trees with your pup.
Golden Valley Tree Park
This beautiful sixty-hectare park is located in Balingup about two and a half hours from Perth. It is a heritage-listed site with trees ranging back over 100 years old.
It's the perfect place to walk around the scenic hillsides and take in the multitude of colourful trees and flowers.
Albany Wind Farm
One of the largest Wind Farms in Australia; this beautiful scenic location is a perfect walk if staying in the Albany area. Located right along the coast, you can walk along the boardwalks to admire the windmills. And given the right time of year, there are platforms to view whales if they are in the area.
Calleya
Calleya
Calleya Estate, located in Treeby, 23kms south of Perth, makes it on to our notable spots list for many reasons.
Not only have we seen first-hand how much this area has grown over the last 5 years but there continue to be more and more discoveries popping up each time we visit.
The enclosed dog parks are great for off the leash plays and then the surrounding bushland has a great trail that spans the entire estate. On our most recent visit, we found a beautiful community garden that Kylo and Vader loved hanging out in with all the succulent smells.
